Gommyr Power Networks is Proud to Be a Partner…
We are excited to announce that we have established a partnership with ANKAA, a Luxembourgish and Greek non-profit organization created in 2017. The aim is to provide the required technical expertise for a feasibility study of a PV System installation on the ANKAA headquarters rooftop in Athens, Greece.
ANKAA is an NGO based in Athens, Greece, that provides on-campus lessons and interactive classes, workshops to migrants, asylum-seekers, and unemployed Greeks. In these difficult times affected by COVID-19, many businesses and educational centers have been closed, impacting the access to education for vulnerable groups. In response to this situation, along with the efforts of ANKAA management and Gommyr engineers, we have started to support ANKAA with our engineering expertise, by carrying out a site visit to assess the site-specific characteristics and to provide the best economic and technical viable PV System installation solution.
In order to be efficient in the project design, a proper site inspection is a must. Our engineers Giacomo Manzoni and Christina Leptourgou undertook a site visit on March 30, to collect all necessary information in order to properly prepare and manage the design, implementation, and assessment for the solar PV system. The main purpose of the site visit was to assess the available area for the installation, possible shading objects and to understand the electric connection of the building. Moreover, a deeper study of the electric bills has been carried out to provide advice on how to properly use energy and the impact on the payments of it.
As part of this partnership, Gommyr intends to support ANKAA with the PV System implementation during the next phase – PV system design and techno-economic feasibility.
Thanks to ANKAA Team for your interest in collaborating with us. We look forward to a long and fruitful partnership.
